The latest weapon in the fight against book bans, Aliens, and more!

Hi all! I had a long cabin weekend with friends at Hocking Hill, so let’s get caught up. Firstly, I am so proud and truly honored to have been a part of the creation and launch of Unite Against Book Bans’ Book Resumes, a free resource for librarians, educators, parents, and others with all the information needed to defend books in collections against book bans, including accolades, author statements, reviews, and more. I was part of the working group for this project with four other librarians, and I am so thankful this now exists and to have been a part of helping my colleagues across the country. Read the press release here.

Secondly, I was so privileged to be invited back to the Fanbase Weekly podcast, and I had such a fun time talking about the ’90s limited series from Dark Horse Aliens: Music of the Spheres. Give a listen!

Thirdly, I’m so happy that I’ll be able to attend WonderCon again in Anaheim, this time as a full-fledged board member of Creators Assemble! I’ll post my full schedule once it’s available.

Finally, look at these amazing commissioned pieces of art from sequential artist Bre Indigo! I’ll be using these across the Internet and for professional appearances (when fun and comics related, of course).
