Spring 2020 – The upcoming books that have me aquiver

Hello, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Turkey Day (in our case, it was a goose day, since turkey is dry and joyless but goose is mouthwateringly tender). Before the holiday, I had the pleasure of attending Book Buzz at Cuyahoga County Public Library. Representatives from Penguin Random House, W. W. Norton & Company, Harlequin, and HarperCollins were on hand to tell us about some of their hot and tempting upcoming titles.

The books below really had my ears perkin’; we’ve got a book about a daughter getting revenge on the mother who abused her due to Munchausen syndrome by proxy; a terrifying book about experimentation on Black Americans, “part The Handmaid’s Tale, part The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks”; a tale about a boy from a strict Muslim family who becomes a queer drag queen; a novel of the undead that sounds wildly entertaining and bouncy, and more. Which book is which? Look them up and find out, so you can share in my giddiness!
